Guidance Needed: If i need just one point for a reservation what do i do?

I have been a member for a long time and I am trying to see my daughter for her internship and need one point lol MY LUCK..... Where can I get this or can I call DVC and pay a fee? Advice needed

If you are making the reservation 7 months or less from the check-in date, you can call MS and purchase One-Time-Use Vacation Points for $17/point.

If you want to book between 11 and 7 months at your home resort, you cannot use One Time Use points, you need home resort points. But it's hard to find someone willing to transfer just one point, not worth the hassle and it's possible to transfer in or out of the membership only once per year. You could look for someone willing to transfer a low number of points and bank those you don't need now.
