I have worked at my job for over 5 years, and I totally love it. However, the other full time lady in my department is soooooo miserable it is making me dread coming in every morning! She is 51 years old, has 3 kids, married for like 27 years. I know everyone has crabby days, which happens, fine, you deal with it. She comes in and it just brings me down. Ask her how her weekend at the cabin up north was...nothing special, just a weekend. Ask her if she is doing anything exciting on a night or weekend...nope, never do anything exciting. I am currently working in my department and another department, splitting time. When someone has a question on work that I did in my regular department, she will come throw a file on my desk and say she doesn't know what is going on, and that I should deal with it, instead of making an effort or asking me nicely for help. She had surgery on her knee in November and still is not feeling good, but she is way too much in woe-is-me mode. Truthfully, the part time lady in my department and I have decided that she is bi-polar, and really does need some help, but how do you bring that up to someone??
