Guests Visiting Us While @ DVC

On our next trip to DVC we have friends from FL who are going to visit us and spend the day at the parks. Does DVC allow guests of guests to park at the resort? I know I can contact the resort but this board is always so helpful I thought I'd pose the question here first. Annmarie

When we had guests staying with us in the villa, but arriving a few days after us, we just told the front desk at OKW, what day they were arriving, and they had their parking card all ready for them when they arrived. Since you seem to be talking about a day guest, I am not exactly sure. If they are going to the parks and planning on parking at DVC, but not staying overnight with you, I think that might be a problem. We have had Florida locals join us for dinner in our villa, and they just had to give our name at the front gate to get in.

Day guests work the same as overnight guests. Just tell the front desk that you are expecting a guest they will ask for their name and when they drive into the resort the gate should have a pass for them.

We had some local friends visit us at OKW recently. We told to expect to show ID at the gate & to tell the guard they were visiting us. We explained to them how to find our room. We called the gurad gate about two hours before we expected them just to let them know. No problem! Enjoy the time with your friends!
