guests visiting us at BWV

We are arriving on Sunday and we used to live in Orlando. We are going to have friends come for a bit to visit. Will they be able to stay for the afternoon and use the pool? Will they receive a parking pass? Thanks and cannot wait to finally get "home"!

When we have had family visit for a day, we stopped at the guard house at the entrance to the resort to let them know. They took down our relative's name, so he could check his ID when he arrived. No parking pass, but they marked it on a clipboard.

They cannot, however, use the pool. Only registered guests at BWV are allowed to use the pool there, as well as at any Disney resort. Pool Hopping is a perk for DVC Members who are staying on points which allows them to visit other resort pools. Not allowed at BCV nor AKL, though. They do check ID at BWV as we have been checked there many times ourselves.

Now, if you have availability in your room, you can register them as guests and obtain room keys for them. This would be a problem if you are using the Dining Plan as you would have to pay for dining for them for the entire length of stay as well.
