I would hope they would be removed from the ship if they are a danger to themselves or others.
Nope, not removed, but I would say sternly warned.
Well that makes sense, I'm sure you can't just kick people off for being jerks. Some cruise lines would run out of guests. I would assume the threshold for removal would be a "danger to yourself or others" or criminal activity such as drugs, theft, etc.
We had a pair on our recent cruise, I'm assuming husband and wife, they were obnoxious the first two nights in the piano bar and dining room. Then Bam we didn't see them for 2 days at dinner, we wondered that they may have missed the boat at our second stop, but we didn't have another stop for 6 days, they reappeared after the 2 days, at dinner.
Of course when people behave this way, they draw attention to themselves, so this is why we noticed.
My husband was a part of the mans antics the first night in the piano bar, he is lucky that my husband is an easy going guy and laughed at his behavior, another person may have knocked him on his bottom.
She went after a character in the dining room and was asked to stop 3 times before the character got very annoyed and left the table. I felt bad for the people sitting with them, because they lost their interaction with the character because she wouldn't stop pulling on him.
I have seen plenty of sober people behaving badly too
The captain can remove anyone from his ship, at his discretion.I'm sure you can't just kick people off for being jerks.
we were wondering what the cruises lines with the all you can drink packages are like.
We were on the sailing as well. Sitting in Keys towards the back we noticed how obnoxious they were. We met a couple who were their table mates and I guess the first couple of nights were grim.We had a pair on our recent cruise, I'm assuming husband and wife, they were obnoxious the first two nights in the piano bar and dining room. One thing that just occurred to me in the conversation about other cruise lines and lack of drunks is that my experience with all inclusive drinks packages is they water them down so much you can’t get drunk even if you tried. I remember one day I probably ordered 4 or 5 poolside drinks at an all inclusive and didn’t even feel a buzz. On Disney, I remember I couldn’t even finish one cocktail because it was so strong. I wonder if that contributes to some of the drunk folks on DCL—they are used to drinking all day on Royal or Carnival and not used to Disney giving you “real” drinks.
