We have reservations at SSR in June for my DW and I and now my kids are going to join us do I need to let them know or is it ok just to bring them along? and will they get keys that say DVC on them as well? Incase we pool hop or they want to eat somewhere that gets the DVC discount?

You can either call MS and just tell them there will be the new number of guests or tell them when you check in, shouldn't matter either way. And you can get four keys if you want, they should all say MEMBER on them.

Be aware that many discounts now require the original membership card, not just a DVC MEMBER room key.

On my recent trip, I purposefully did not hand anyone the blue card for the discounts because I wanted to see if anyone asked for it. The only time I was asked to show my membership card was for the purchase of DVC pins. All other discounts were given by using the "Key to the World" card that has "DVC Member" written on it. I used it at restaurants and for recreation and no one want it. Maybe they were too busy?
