Guest ID's on friends list

Does anyone know if the Guest ID's automatically change to the approved username on the friends list?

As of now, I have 20 Guest Id's on my friends list. I've been cracking down on accepting friends, my list is getting waaay to long. I know I have not recently accepted 20 'Guests'.

Are these old Guest names, that have now gone on to their approved name?

Help!, I need to do some cleaning out!

I am not sure if name changes, but I think it does because I have accepted many guest friends and most on my list have names. I just went through my list and deleted some that have not been on for a long time to make room for people that I see often.

Well then, I'm confused! (Not hard to do! lol) Like I said, I know I have not accepted that many Guest friends recently. Could some of them be ones whose first (or subsequent) username requests were denied?

i had like 30 guest ids then they all changed to their new names
