Guest Count Question

Do guests under the age of 3 count towards the guest capacity count at ceremony and reception venues?

I know they don't count towards the minimum food & beverage expenditure and they eat free. Just not sure about overall guest count at the venues.

by what I have heard/seen on my reception food price sheet, children 3-9 are a child's price at the reception. Under 3 is free I guess.. i'm not sure as far as the ceremony goes though

If the # is for fire codes, they would have to be counted. I cannot imagine them not be.

I believe any children 3 and up would count. I had my nephew attend in January and he was only 1 1/2 years old. And if I am correct they said if he was 3 & over then he is a count.

When we got married we were told everyone counted, even my 2 yr old nephew. However we would not have had to pay for his meal if we did a buffet or for a viewing fee if we had done a dessert party.

From what I understand under 3 doesn't count, but 3 and over does.
