Guest Assistance Question

I have a Guest Assistance card for WDW that is renewed every 3 months. I am going to DL in a few weeks - will they honor this card or issue one of theirs or do I need to go back to Guest Services and start from scratch?

You will need to obtain a new Guest Assistance Cards. GACs issued by the Walt Disney World Resort will not be honoured at the Disneyland Resort, and vice versa.

Simply visit City Hall in Disneyland Park or the Guest Relations Lobby in Disney California Adventure Park. A Guest Relations Host or Hostess will be happy to assist you.

If you have a choice, I would suggest going to guest services at DCA. I have never seen more than 1 or 2 people in line there, while at DL the line can get rather long.

Of course, that means you will probably have to wait until later in the day, since DCA opens later.

Yes you will have to get another card - not all stamps are the same in both parks. Some people have reported that it helps to bring the card from the other park, though you will still have to explain what your needs are.

that is what I was thinking - bring old card - should I bring the Doctor's notes for this as well - it is easier than trying to explain the issues

They may or may not look at a doctor's note - you are not required to have one. I found it easier to write a brief letter myself with my needs, so that I did not have to try to remember everything. I have trouble verbalizing things to strangers, so I found that easier.
