Guest accomodation (restriction?)

If i have 20 guests for custom wedding , do i have to follow this rule :
"It is anticipated that each bride will guarantee 10 hotel room nights as part of her Disney's Fairy Tale Wedding as stated in the Letter of Agreement. "

In other words, at least 10 of my guests have to stay in Disney hotel for a night (or 5 of my guests stay in Disney hotel for 2 nights ) And they have to reserve room through me or my bride ?

I originally was expecting my guests to reserve Disney hotel themselves.

Please let me know from your experience

The first part is true, at least 10 guests have to stay in a Disney hotel for at least one night OR 5 of your guests have to stay for at least 2 nights. They DO NOT have to reserve the room through you or your bride, there is a special phone number and when they call they mention that they are booking for the "XXX & XXX" Wedding and you will get credited the room ressy to your count.

That rule seems strict. If all my friends actually very close to Orlando, i have to sorta force some of them to stay in Disney hotel.

Though it seems bad at first, most Disney couples don’t have trouble meeting their room night requirements. Remember, your honeymoon counts toward the minimum as well. In other words, let’s say you and your fiancé are staying at Disney for 5 nights, then that’s already half of your room night requirement. You may be surprised to actually exceed your requirement. If you are concerned about it since you have local guests, then talk to your Sales Manager about it and maybe they can work something out.

i thought for a custom wedding, the guests had to stay a minimum of 25 nights? that's what i remember. being that almost everyone that came to our wedding was staying a week, including us, we had no problem meeting the 25 room night minimum. by meeting the minimum, you won't be charged for rooms that are not being used and could be used for the general public, and if i remember this right, you will get your wedding night compt at any hotel on the property. any hotel.

which hotels are you planning on setting up the discounts?
