Guesstimates for Free DDP dates next year?

It looks like labor date arrives late next year (9/7). How do you think that will impact free dining dates for the U.S. folks? I am trying to narrow the dates down so I can reserve now in the hopes of a discount later.

One thing that makes me believe it may be earlier then normal is that the UK boards are reporting that they expect it to be offered Aug 2nd, 2009 to Oct 3rd. Maybe by Disney downgrading to the Counter service plan for free dining at the moderates (values?) they have opened up the time that this works for them as a discount? Or maybe it is only a UK thing. I was thinking originally like you, that with the holiday later that the discount may be later, but this will give us more options if everything works out. Donna

OH MY GOODNESS! I would love if it went into October next year!! I would book it the last day of that trip and possibly be able to be there on my ds's
5th b'day!

Question- IF they offer a Free Dining bounceback this year starting the first day of the FD in a few weeks then won't we know the dates in a few weeks? I am going for FD at the end of Sept...if it goes into Oct. I definitely want to do that!! What do y'all think??

I booked for September 18th next year...I certainly hope that it goes for at least as long this year!

Early Sept. is a best bet for good discounts one way or another. It never hurts to book room only this early if you are getting a preferred room or suite. For standard stuff you should still have plenty of time to think it over.
