Guess who is on the road again?

Me, of course. I'm leaving in a couple of hours for Mackinac Island. Just for tonight and tomorrow. I'll be back late Thursday night.

I am taking my laptop with me and I will not have my mean old sister around to get upset if I log onto the DIS. I will try to log on late tonight.

Take care of each other. I wonder what it is going to be like to have to smell the fragrance of all of that fudge today and tomorrow? I think my character is about to be tested. I'll bet I have no problem ignoring that fudge. I'll be thinking of my support group and I'll just walk on by (about 20 stores in a row )

My support group will be helping my by remote control, though. I'll just think of my WISH pals if I feel the teensiest bit tempted.

Hey, Have fun! I have lived in Michigan all my life and beleive it or not I have never been there! I do hope to get there soon though. I have never been to Frankenmuth either, so what does that tell you?

You can resist the fudge! Although, I think I would be awful tempted!

Have a great time! I love that place! One day I want to stay at the Grand hotel. It must be beautiful. Good luck with the fudge smell, just remember how hard you have worked. Buy yourself something cool instead, a tshirt, or a souvenier, you'll be forever able to look at that item and know you had the strength to stay strong and true to yourself!

Im on my way again Fri morn; will be back next Thurs. Wont be able to check the WISH or fitday but will continue to write everything down. I'll take the time to walk in the mornings too.

Kath! Have a wonderful time! Don't touch the fudge! Where are you staying? I've stayed there a couple of times - once at the Grand Hotel on my DVC points! I was going to say we aren't going to get to MI this year - what was I thinking??? I've been to Detroit on 7/4 and the WISH meet is coming up! I just think of the Mackinac area as "Michigan" not the lower part! Same token, we're not getting to Wisconsin (translation: Door County) this summer either!

I agree with the other posters- use your funds for something more fun- how about a new outfit to look forward to wearing??? But I know how you feel- chocolate is my passion!! I would LOVE to do my am walks at Mackinac Island!!! My friend got married there 4 years ago- it looked beautiful- I was relocated at the time and unable to make it- ENJOY YOURSELF!!!

I bought some fudge and even ate some. Fortunately for me it was sweetened with maltilol and safe for me to eat.

I'm home. Now I have to go take my cousin to see mother in the hospital, then take her to dinner and then I'll try to get back online later.

You really get around!
You may want to look around in some of those fudge stores. A lot of them here on the Cape have sugar free fudge. It's made in-store and I hear it's really good. If you can't find any on your trip let me know and I'll send you some from our neck of the woods!
