This just makes me sick to my stomach. I lost a $100 bill. :(

Guess it was somebodys lucky day.

ohhhh ouch.

i had my room key (charging prividleges) dvc cards, credit card and birthday gift card (just received $75) in one of those lanyard zip up plastic thingy's and lost it at MK between Buzz and Cinderella's (a 2 hours span of time)

i freaked out - but 3 days later got it back - $100 bill would be hard to identify in lost and found (cause it would never make it there)

sorry you lost it - pains the heart to hear that.

Oh man, so sorry to hear that. But you are right, you inadvertently made someone's day. At this point, that's the only way to look at it...you spread some pixie dust...expensive pixie dust... :)

sorry :(

I can't carry cash for this reason, I had such a (natural) bad habit of losing it some how. DF said following around behind me was like traveling with a slot machine.

I haven't reported it to lost and found yet because they were closed when we left. I am going to though, in the remote chance that someone turns it in. I haven't had such a good day today because icant quit thinking about it.

So sorry. I feel your pain. I know, every dollar is saved and/or hard earned when we go away. $100 would be a days worth of food (or gas money home) for us. I hope something good happens to make up for that loss.

i'm so sorry, op  i know how you feel. this past saturday i lost one of the diamond earrings DH gave me a few years ago. not sure where-either at pop, DHS or epcot, but it hasn't turned up at lost & found yet.

It's such a horible feeling to lose money like that. So sorry. Just get out there and try to get on with your trip, don't let it be spoiled. Go have fun, darn it!

kadesha, I am so sorry:hug: I know you must be so sick about it.

A few years ago we were in Vegas and I ordered room service for breakfast after a very long night ;) Well when the room service lady brought in our tray I reached into our cup filled with chips to grab her a tip. They were mostly $5 chips and there was one $100 chip as well. About an hour later DH asked me what I did with the $100 chip that was in the cup of chips? :scared1:

Yep, I tipped the girl $100! There was no way I was getting that back. I though DH was going to kill me and leave me in the desert!

But, in my Pollyanna mind I just said to myself that the room service lady was a single mom having trouble feeding her kids and because of my stupidity she was able to feed her family...:rolleyes1 My husband still reminds me of my fabulous tip on a regular basis.

I hope you get some pixie dust and someone turns in the $$! :grouphug:

1) I feel your pain.
2) I also lost a $100 bill.
3) If anyone finds it, you can tell to whom it belongs, as
. . . mine is green
. . . mine has a face on it
. . . mine is the same size as a $1 bill
4) Not sure what YOURS looks like.

:yay:

Look on the bright side...

Lets hope some young kid, whose mom/dad have them on a daily spending allowance while on vac, found that $100 bill. Now that kid is really feeling the Disney "magic" while eating extra snacks and shopping at World of Disney !!

Don't feel bad!

I spread some unintended pixie dust today as well in the Hollywood Studios when I lost my $50 gas card. I thought about it the same way and said to DH that I just made someone's day!

i once lost a $100 at the grocery store...... paid for my groceries with a check and decided to let the desk know.... a manager had found it and they just asked which check out line I went thru and I told them ... that is where she found it. When I pulled my keys out I must have dropped the money.

I think I have seen your bill!!

Hate to hear about you losing the bill. This is not the proper way to make a magical moment for somebody. A fastpass would be good enough.

Note: never put anything in the pouch in front of you.
