Guess What I Just Did?

Got a letter yesterday from Virgin kindly informing me that they have a special offer on Premium Economy flights for all dates in 2005 upto Dec 9.

Wasnt REALLY interested, as it would still work out £1800 for all of us return.

I then thought, as we had a really bad flight home with Daniel last year, maybe it would be worth thinking about for the return leg.

Made some enquiries, as you do and found out that kids get a 67% discount, plus we also get our 10% Frequent Virgin discount as well on the already reduced prices. Got a quote for just over £500 for all of us for the return flight, so booked it this morning. Im not going to tell any of the others till we get to the check in at Downtown Disney on the way home .

As the journey home is always the very worst part of the trip, this will at least be a little something to look forward too!

So, now I want to know how fabulous PE is and how soon do they come round with the Champers .

Personally, I think it's great! As I'm not good at flying, that bit of extra space and less people just makes it that bit easier for me.

The champers comes round pretty much soon after your bum is on the seat and of course that helps ease the nervousness as well

Love PE would do this myself if there weren't 6 of us going, but you'll have a great flight and a better rest and sleep than in economy, the only thing is, it'll spoil you and now you'll want enhanced economy on every flight!!!

Oh dear, Allie - you do know that you will never be able to fly economy again, don't you?!

PE is amazing. You are so lucky to have got the amazing upgrade price....I wish we had originally booked economy and could do this upgrade now!

Make sure you get on the VA website and pre-select your seats upstairs - it is so much nicer than the two rows of PE in the main cabin of the plane.
