I am so EXCITED I had to share. I know some of you will be able to relate. After 7 long years I have finally converted my dh into a disney freak!!! Not as much as me, but enough for him to ask about AP's & DVC!!!!! :cool1: :cool1: WHOOO HOOOOO Can you believe it!!!! He took me competely by surprise yesterday. I am so excited!! I NEVER thought this day would come. Just this past trip he was finally able to admit he enjoys going to the world every year. This is HUGE step!! This week my DH is the best husband ever!!!

Lol...I feel your gain! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Seriously...it so is the best feeling, isn't it!!!!

My husband presented me with Bonnet Creek when I never, ever saw it coming. He bought enough for all our kids/spouses/grandkids to spend a week in the presidential suite during Christmas every year if we want. It was so unexpected I kept asking him if it was true for weeks! Sometimes those converted Disney husbands really do get it...although I guess the 17 steady years of Disney vacations may have given him a clue! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

This weekend DH asked me to type up the "itinerary" with ADR's so he could "review" it. (he was confused with all that I was throwing at him: MVMCP, CP, Pirate Cruise, Sleigh Ride) To make him feel really good I let him pick our last open ADR :love2: he chose Coral Reef.

We're a ways away from DVC, but who knows!!

How did you manage it? My DH considers "all things Disney" to be my "hobby"! He enjoys going to the World, but doesn't quite "get" it...yet! I'm working on him!

For now, he sighs, shakes his head, and humors me! ;)

You couldn't have done a wiser (or nicer) thing than letting him pick your last open ADR...Coral Reef. Now, no matter what happens, make sure you let him know how much you enjoy(ed) Coral Reef! Do not under any (even the most justifiable) circumstances allow your DH to feel that he was less than brilliant for choosing this restaurant! (This should be easy, Coral Reef is a lovely restaurant and has some really nice menu choices lol)

Lol...this is how it begins...

I hear you LOUD AND CLEAR. It was pretty cute how he studied the guide book for about thirty minutes to make his choice. I was a little bummed :sad1: that he picked a two pointer, since we're on the dining plan. Guess we'll pay for our CP package out of pocket, which was our plan two weeks ago when you couldn't use the dining plan. In fact I never told him you could now and I guess I won't at this point!

Good plan...do you have someone to watch the kids while you share this dinner? No?...fear not, a 3 year-old will be calmed by the serene atmosphere, and possibly diverted by all the lovely fish and occasional turtle swimming by in the large aquarium windows. Your daughter (I'm assuming she's less than a year old) might possibly sleep through the whole meal, depending on her age and temperament.

Whether they do or do not, it is a great choice for a scrumptious calm dinner...er, I did say calm ...not clam ...although if you checked the menu they might well have a clam dish or two...lol

Disneyaholic... ::MickeyMo (Hello  my name is Janet and yes I am a Disneyaholic) - I await the day when
Disney Anonymous(e) :rotfl2:  starts up - I will be the first one in line - I think I may even start the first Chapter :Pinkbounc

My DH converted me (oh the peer pressure) on our Honeymoon :bride: :groom: - He had been going with his family since 1972 - when I met his family I swore that would never happen to me :rotfl2: - and then it takes over - bit by bit - Oh it's all innocent in the beginning - "Honey, here read this and tell me what you would like to do" then it's "Honey how about we take the kids on a vacation ::MickeyMo " - but really it's the small things that show up - the room reservations - the tickets and then the next thing you know - you are a DVC member and an AP holder - (Hello  my name is Janet and yes I am a Disneyaholic)

side note - I mean no disrespect to those in AA or NA :grouphug:

:jumping1: :jumping1:
Happy for you...I just wish we lived closer the airfare is the only killer for us not to go more frequently :sunny:

If your son is included on the dining plan (is given daily credits as you are), you might consider paying for your DS's dinner out of pocket for Coral Reef...that way (if I have figured it correctly, you would have spent less than $10 out of pocket, and still have 2 credits to use for (adult) lunches/dinners at CP, paying for DS lunch/dinner there out of pocket)...pretty nice savings if it is allowed...which I am almost positive it is!

Let us know!

We will do that if it is still allowed when we go in December. I have read on these boards that there is talk of changing this. If so, I'll let DH pick some TS breakfasts or lunches for us as well!! :rotfl:
