Guess what I did yesterday!

I went and saw the President speak! It was so neat! I actually had a hard time believing that it was really him, right there in the same room as me, LOL! I remember in high school I got to go see Al Gore speak, and that was really neat too, even though he and I have very different political views. There is just something so cool about seeing the President or Vice President!

I believe that it was a Republican rally. Bush was speaking to rally support for Georgia's Republican candidates. I got tickets from a friend, and she got them from the local Republican office, so I think it was a campaign rally.

My kids met both George and W at a Texas A&M game. Jules got to shake their hands. Jake was too scared.

Isn't it a great feeling....I was fortunate enough that I did get to see G. Bush also at the D-Day memorial on dedication day...we arrived hours and hours ahead of time and was on row 20 ...not to bad. glad that you enjoyed it.
