The christmas tree arrived last Wednesday 10/18 and is backstage being prepared for the Christmas season!! :woohoo: deck the halls with boughs of holly fa la la la la la la la la :santa: ok i know i know...im getting ahead of myself :rotfl:

Thanks for the info. I've never seen Disneyland decorated for Christmas, but I get to see it all this year!!!

Dang, already? Hmmm, I guess that makes sense, since it will go up "overnight" in a little over a week!

I knew someone who every year spent the entire day after Halloween decorating her place for Christmas. Every nook and cranny of her apartment had something on it, and she was constantly playing Christmas music and Christmas movies.

I like Christmas as much as the next person, but to see and hear it all for 2 months solid was a bit much.

Its out in the middle of some trees, sort of behind the haunted mansion.

I can't wait! We're headed down on the 18th for a few days, and are looking forward to the festivities. :Pinkbounc

Will the tree and other decorations be up when we go 9-13 nov?

As much as I love Christmas, I would like to see DL for the first (and possibly only)time as it is usually (ie: no christmas!)

I  Christmas time at DL and especially the cool/ giant sized ornaments they put on the huge tree each year. Can't wait to see it! :goodvibes

Lynn: I'm surprised you didn't tell the delievery guys to send the tree to your house instead ;)

After going to DL with the kids over the holidays for the last 6 years, my hubby and I decided to go for a day without the kids during the summer... It was soo strange not to see the holiday decorations... I must admit, I did get a little scared on the haunted mansion ride... (don't laugh) :joker:

One of these days, I will have to take the kids during the non-holiday season... As far as they know, DL always has a christmas tree...

Thats exciting. Especially for those who will be there over the Xmas season. Im looking so forward to trip reports on the xmas season.

dang it pix....i tried...he said no...then I escalated it to a manager and ordered them to bring it to my house, the manager told me I was looney and hung up on me...can you believe the nerve of that guy???? me looney? as if:lmao:...he swears like it was some off the wall request...sheesh it was just a tree :rolleyes2 I might have to move a few things in my house ie the roof and such but it could be doable

YEA!!!!!!! :jumping1: I'm getting so excited to see all the decorations!!!!! I'll be there Dec 6th-14th. This will be my first time being there during the holiday season but I was kindda bummed because I wanted to see the electric parade and it starts the day after we leave so I asked my travel agent to see how much it was gonna be to stay two more days and take a late flight home and she called back and told me $780.000 more!  and so I told her never mind and that we would just do it next year instead. This will be my first time ever being able to go in the Hunted Mansion and POTC pirate: so I'm super excited!!!!!! :yay: :yay: :yay:
