Got call from guide today. Credit application got approved, paperwork is done. Guess I just now have to wait for the phone call that it is closed?
They call to tell you, right?
What else can I now except?
I was told by DVC today that I'll receive an approval letter in the mail in about a week. Permanent cards in the mail soon, too? Anything else?

Good news about your credit app. You will not get a call when you close. If you look at your paperwork you will have an estimated closing date on it. I found that it usually closes earlier than that date, as long as you sign your paperwork right away. If they still do their closings on Wednesdays, you can count 15 days after the date you signed, and it should close the following Wednesday.

Yep, it took from last Tuesday when I faxed my credit application to yesterday, Wednesday. Just right over a week. I was starting to stress cause I had read from so many that they heard back within a day. After talking with someone Tuesday and getting the impression that my credit application I had faxed was possibly "misplaced" since they couldn't find anything on the computer as to the status I finally called credit underwriting directly Wednesday morning. She was so nice. She said she had just gotten my paperwork that morning and they were backed up. Told me she's call me later that day. That was at eleven and she called back and left a message that we were approved by noon! FAST! Hubby told me not to worry but I was just too excited about this since we had decided to finally go for it!

Oh, and we bought at BCV!!! It was a close choice between this and VWL, but Stormalong Bay won out!
Made first DVC ressies for Christmas a couple days after we put down a deposit, too!
We'll be taking a quick tour when we go down in a week.
