As some of you know, we booked to stay in SL from 15-19th of Dec. But somehow I was keen on the idea of staying in DLH (closer to the park, two kids, easier in the evenings etc etc) so called this morning and got a quote to upgrade. We've paid our holiday in full, it cost £518 to stay for 5 days in SL Montana room but she said it'd be another £750 for the DLH. That is a lot more than I wanted to pay for DLH so we'll be staying in SL and use the £750 as spending money...

Another time maybe??? We'll have a great time! :)

WOW!! That's an amazing upgrade price. I'd rather spend it on the actual holiday rather than the accomodation to be honest, although I have never stayed in the DLH before so it might actually be that amazing that it's worth the money.

Thats a lot of money for an upgrade!! Think how many lovely meals and toys for the girls you could get for that!!

I would love to stay in DLH but like you, I can't justify paying the extra. We are staying in SL Montana room in January and I'm sure it will be fabulous! £750 will buy you some great meals, souvenirs and will make it easier to say 'yes' to everything your 2 DD's hearts desire!! :thumbsup2

Or you could keep the £750 & just go again. Just think, which would the girls prefer - DLH or another trip?

She said the offer for an extra night doesn't work for DLH:confused3

Ah anyway, I only wanted to check how much we'll have to pay extra. And to be honest, £750 will buy me another trip there next year:thumbsup2

Yep thats the I see it too - the SL looks lovely anyway were staying there in Nov

I got the extra night offer on DLH for Jan...might be worth asking again?

DLH is a LOT though. It was over double the SL price for january, but we were 780 for 3 nights which I thought for a stay at DLH wasn't so bad....

January is as cheap as it gets though!

I loked at upgrading my July trip and it was an extra £1200+! When we'd alrady paid £800 I jsut couldnt justify it for 4 days!

Safe to say we wont be staing there during the summer for a couple of years at least!

SL looks like its really cosy and lovely at xmas time - you'll have a wonderful trip!!

I've got to say, I thought it was part of the extra night offer. When we were choosing between Sept and Jan, I got a quote for the DLH for £672 for 3 nights..... The main reason we didn't take this was once we'd factored in flights, taxis, etc, it was far too much money.

The one night free offer has already ended on the DLH. We got it when we booked a couple of months ago but when my friend tried to book the same last week the offer had ended, that's why the price upgrade is so much

:rotfl: not sure though, maybe next year, but will work on Jeremy:love:

Sounds good!!

I've already planted seeds, hinting I'd love to go back to DLRP next year as a graduation present to myself......

How very strange...

I know it never works with castle club rooms, but it still seems to be ok for January.

I do wish it was valid for castle club rooms though - that would make them so tempting in the winter :goodvibes

I think they only have a certain number of rooms with these offers-so when your planning ongoing maybe there all booked? When I booked my trip there were no offers on the hotel new york as I think they were all full?
