They did it last fall. It was great.

They did it last year. It was pretty fun. I actually liked the queue better during this as it was more ominous. The Preshow and storyline of the ride are different too.

During the day it ran as GOTG "Mission Break Out" up until 5pm I think.
Then it switched over to GOTG "Monsters After Dark" and started up at 6pm

Access to Fast Passes for Monsters After Dark began at 3pm

On Halloween CM's had some props I've never seen before. One was walking through the queue with a bag that had a tail (looked like raccoon) wagging through a hole in the back. Another CM had some kind of backpack, did not get a good look. They were far more interactive and joking with guests. It was really neat.

It was cool. I rode both for the first time on the same day so it was like getting a little story, having dinner, then coming back for the sequel.

My lesson from standing in that line last year (the first time they did it since the ride had only been open for less than a year), GET A FASTPASS. If you are coming on the first day they open up for Monsters After Dark, you WILL be waiting for a very long time in standby. Save yourself the headache and get your FP as soon as possible if this is something you want to ride. It was fun, great, but definitely not worth standing in line for more than 40 minutes.
