In my opinion Disney is reaching my "tipping point" and the experience is not worth the cost. It seems to me the corporate head office has lost it's way and does not represent Walt Disney's original vision.
This is a common conversation across the different boards associated with the different Disney products.
DCL is too expensive and I have reached a tipping point....but the ships are almost full.
WDW / Tickets are too expensive and I have reached a tipping point....but the conversations about the parks being too crowded are numerous.
Disney restaurants have gone down in quality and I have reached a tipping point...but it's hard to get the reservations I need
You get the idea..
I think it's common to get to a point where something else looks better / the grass is always greener etc, and if that's the case....you should investigate the greener grass.
Disney has realized that there is someone right behind you to take your spot in the park, on a cruise ship, on an ABD, in a Disney restaurant etc.
Until Disney feels a financial hit....things will probably not change and with the info released that Disney has contracted with AMA until 2023...I'm guessing that ABD expects to be around awhile.
