Guaranteed Stateroom release date?

I got lucky and got a deal on an oceanview stateroom. But it is only Guaranteed... we have 2 rooms for our party. How far in advance does Disney tell you what rooms they put you in? We'd like to find out if we are 3 floors away from each other or right next door!
