Guarantee cabin

We just signed up for the Magic for September 2019 departure. We could only get a guarantee cabin.
Wondering when Disney typically lets you know your cabin number. Haven’t sailed Disney in several years but so excited for this cruise! Thanks.

We got ours a week before sailing last year.

No sense worrying though, any room on a Disney cruise is better than no Disney cruise.

They can assign GTY rooms between a few months up to the day of the cruise. There is no set moment. It varies from cruise to cruise, but it is often done on Tuesday.

It can be anywhere from months to days in advance. Just depends on how full the ship is in that category.

Depends a bit on the type of guarantee you have.

A GTY with a specific category type specified usually gets assigned 30-45 days out. A last minute *GT typically gets assigned around 10 days out (usually on a Tuesday).

That said, any guarantee reservation can be assigned to a room at any time from the original booking date all the way up to, and including, embarkation day.
