We're booked on the 9/10/05 Western in a GTY12. We have not yet been assigned a room according to the Disney website. I checked availability for that date and Disney only showed Cat. 4,5,and 8. Does that mean (hopefully) that we'll be assigned to one of those rooms? When will I find out where we'll be sleeping? Of course, anywhere is fine w/me, but a room w/ a view would be great!

It may or may not....though it seems CAT 12 GTYs do tend to get upgraded sometimes, but most likely it would be to a Cat 9 or Cat 10. You can find out in your final documents...they may note the change at the website in the future so keep checking there. Sometimes you won't find out until you are at the port. At the final payment date many cabins open up and DCL rearranges inventory, sometimes right up until sail date.

Don't expect an upgrade but of course scream and shout if one happens!!!

DCL allowed us to book a GTY 12 with 2 adults and 2 children. Does this mean we will definitely get at least an 11?

Yes, it does, as there are no quad 12s.
