Hello all,

We booked a last minute GTY stateroom (interior) for a cruise occurring in 2 months. We are gold but our last cruise was about 5 months pre-covid. I am fully aware that I booked a nonrefundable, non changeable reservation. However, I am wondering if it is possible to move to a higher priced room. Certainly Disney would rather have more of my money? If not, all good. This is our first time in anything but a verandah room and we are starting to wonder if we should have just spent a little more $$. Regardless, we are ecstatic to be back on a boat!!

Certainly worth a call to DCL to ask. Technically it's "no changes", but I agree they'd probably be interested in getting more of your money. Was VGT available when you booked? Or only IGT?

Yes, VGT was available. It was three or four hundred dollars more, and we probably should have taken it. However lately we had been discussing trying an Oceanview room since we only sleep in our rooms. So when I saw the cheapest cruise I'd ever seen pop up on IGT I just booked it lol.

Good question! I'd give them a call and ask. Let us know how it turns out.

I have booked OGT and upgraded to VGT before sailings a few times with no problem....as long as there was availability.
