GS/Early Entry Question..Couldn't Answer

OK..So, I read the threads about Early Entry and emailed Guest Services to ask about it for on site guests, since we used to have the ability to enter on every EE day, and there was some noise that that was no longer the case.
So. I write Guest services and they give me a standard rundown of EE, which doesn't answer my question, so I write again, making the question clearer, and the response is:

Unfortunately, we cannot answer those questions for you. We apologize
for any inconvenience this may cause you and your family. We recommend
that you contact the hotel in which you are staying by dialing our
Resort Operator at 714-781-4000. They will transfer you to the
appropriate hotel.

Again, thank you for taking the time to write.>>

They can't answer an EE question??
Anyway, I call the GC (great CM!!) and she says, yes, we can enter on all EE days and they are Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday.

HI.

I called the Disneyland Hotel and was told that hotel guests with valid admission - park hopper or AP or other ticket - military pass and a valid and current room charge slip can enter Disenyland on any available Magic Morning day.
I was told that this is the current policy and that there are no plans to change. I was also told that it is available to guests at PP and GCH as well. Only Disneyland Resort Hotel guests get the privilege. I was told to inquire about it at check-in.

I called WDTC and I was told essentially the same thing. My contact at DL Guest Communications also told me that Disneyland Resort Hotel guests at DL Hotel, PP Hotel or GCH can enter on any Magic Morning day provided they have valid admission in any form and a current and valid room charge slip.

Yes, that is what it is. What was odd was that Guest Services could not answer such a simple question.
That said, I had a nice talk with the CM at GC who confirmed all our reservations and such.
I just don't know why I was directed to call the hotel for such a simple question.
