Dh, had to call his payroll office 2 weeks ago to change his main office location so he would actually receive his reimbursement checks (which are always WEEKS late). In doing so they somehow managed to clear out all of his information so that his paycheck was not direct deposited today as scheduled. In fact, it will take them a couple of days to get him back in the system, and then they are mailing his check, through office mail, then post office. And they are in NY and we live in PA. Proabably will take a week or more. We autopay nearly everything from simple fixes like direct deposits into our savings to auto paying our mortgages and gas bill we have at least $5k in outgoing payments going out today and Monday. I am so thankful that he happened to check today, what a mess if we didn't look! And still pretty stressful, transfering money around like crazy!
Keep thinking about when I was younger and made less and every penny was spent each paycheck - we wouldn't have been able to eat! Worst part was the ladies attitude , like he was inconveniencing HER! Grrrrr!
At least a small part of me was worried that dh had become that guy in the movie "Office Space " (thanks smitch 425 for correction) -stapler guy. I was worried he had been let go and nobody told him! So although frustrated, I guess I have a lot to be thankful for today!
