grrrrr! AAA headache!

I had to call 3 different times to get a correct quote for a WDW package.
They kept adding the premium dining! I got sooo annoyed because the first two TAs insisted that the Magic Your Way tickets did not come with a hopper/ water park option. It is so infuriating! The first two quotes were $1600 more that the Disney Travel Company!

Sorry you had so much trouble. I finally found a AAA travel agent in a different state who could help me.

I understand your frustration! Finally I called a recommended AAA in South Carolina and she was wonderful! Very quick to respond and seemed to know all the right questions to ask. Let me know if you'd like her name and number!

That's funny!! I called a Suffolk office and I was transferred to a Manhattan travel agent!!

About a month ago someone posted a couple of AAA agents that knew how to book AAA packages and gave their names and 800 numbers....You might search this board for the thread.

I decided to give my local agency a try first....the first girl I talked to was totally confused and kept telling me stuff I knew wasn't right. She was really flustered that I knew what I wanted, what they called it and how much it was supposed to cost, she ended up suggesting another agent in the office "that likes all that Disney stuff" and that woman had me booked in a flash....she knew exactly what I wanted, called Disney while I was there and had me in and out of the office, reservation in hand in less than 10 minutes!!

I already knew how much it should come to and her quote was 12 $$ less (for some reason the park tickets were $3 each cheaper than prices I had seen on line....oh well I sure won't complain about that)

Moral of this story...I would NOT try and explain it all to someone who doesn't know what they are doing....find another agent....your chances of getting it right are much improved!!

How are ya'll finding AAA prices for Disney packages online??

We just joined AAA and when I log into the website and the only choice I have is to email for a price quote.

Am I missing something??

If she is not available, you can either leave a voice mail or someone else in the office should be able to help you (someone else I gave Patrice's number to wasn't able to speak with her, but another agent helped her).
