*sigh*

Ordered our passes for Universal, even opted to have them mailed to me so I had the physical tickets ready to roll... And then noticed I picked the wrong date for the Express passes. Doh!

Calling Universal - Now.....
 
"Worked with me" is a vague phrase. All they could offer is for me to visit guest services when I arrive and they might be able to switch the passes to a new day.... Might. *sigh*
 
call guest services in the morning.
ask them if the can change the ep dates.
explain you called after you hit submit and made the purchase.
it was an honest mistake and you called once you realized the dates you listed were in error.


i know the tickedt website states non refundable, but gs can and does work miracles with mummy dust....


they have helped me when i was in a pickle before and sure they can listen and advise you.
they are very helpful and consider the situation when you have a need or issue.

you can always request to speak to a supervisor as they are the ones that can override an oops you made .......


try not to lose sleep over this tonight. :hug:

I did talk to them, however because I opted to have the tickets FedEx'ed to me they have "been issued" so now the only way to fix this issue is at guest services at the park and only if there are still Express passes available for that day. No, I won't be loosing any sleep, there is enough time that I can plan around this and make contingencies. No worries, it just would have been nice if they could have just changed out the tickets.

My prediction is that you'll be fine. When are they for?
 
In my experience, Universal's in-person customer service has been top notch.

I'm sure they simply have to put those terms on the tickets, because otherwise everyone would have a field day with switching EPs to other dates. It would be a nightmare.

But.... since yours was obviously an honest mistake, I'd wager that, if they do have the ability to make the change, they probably will do that for you.... especially if your interaction with them is polite and calm. (I'm not implying that you wouldn't be polite and calm.... I'm just saying that I've seen far too many irate people begin their interactions with CS by yelling and blaming and just being awful... How in the world do they think that is going to help the situation!?!? A straightforward, friendly conversation with CS is going to get anyone much better results than a fit. :thumbsup2)

Having been sent on their way vs eticket the issue. GS will fix this handily for you, an honest mistake.

Via your ticker, appears trip may be in August, you'll be fine. As I keep hearing 'everybody knows it's too hot to go then' hmmph, I'm hoping for low crowds lol.

I know, or at least I hope, It's just that the entire reason for getting the physical tickets was so that I could walk right in the gate and not waist time at at GS. So much for that plan....
