We'll be taking DD5 and DD6 but the grandparents are coming too. Is there any suggestion for a not so expensive grown up/date night dinner/drinks?

unfortunatley most grownup drinks are ridicoulusly over priced at disney. normal range is about 9-10 dollars. i had a strawberry daquri last week for 950...at home that would be 5 bucks. but it was a good daquri! lol i wasn't fond of the pina colava, not a huge raspberry fan, and the taste was very overwhelming. dh liked his berry drink, and hes not a frufruy drink kinda guy.

i also had a lapu-lapu? i believe it was called at ohana in a pineapple. and i dont know if they forgot the flavors to go with, but to me it was pure alcohol, and man within half an hr of starting it, it hit me hard! lol

LOL! Maybe we'll stick to the resort we're at for "date night". Safer driving "home" too. :)

lol...most of the same drinks are offered at the pool bars on disney property too. but yeah that may be a good idea. most of the drinks in all the restuarants are the same, except i think the lapulapu is only offered at the poly. probably a good reason for that! lol i saw a couple going with one each and their small kid...man i hope theirs wasnt as strong as mine! lol but as soon as i saw it i wanted one.

I'd go to EPCOT, get a Grand Marnier slushy and a Pastry to share from France and sit and watch Illuminations together.

Althought my husband would probably rather have a pint of Guiness and Fish/Chips to share from the Rose/Crown pub.::yes::

The other thing you can do is go to Jellyrolls and enjoy the dueling pianos.

Ahhhhhh I think we have a winner...he'd LOVE the Grand Marnier slushie idea! Awesome. And Illuminations will for sure bring a lil romance. Thank u!!

The House of Blues in DTD is a fun place to go and is affordable!

Yeah! I'm hoping to get my hubby to do it too, but he's not the romantic :sad2:type so I can just try.
Have fun!!

The Wave at the Contemporary is a really nice place to eat. The atmosphere is romantic without giving off that really fancy vibe.
