Al is omitting HIS story! You see, my dad was a sort of "Gentile Yenta". In 1972 my dad was in the hospital over thanksgiving. His oldest son (NTSammy5) had just mustered out of the army and was trying his best to adjust to civilian life. Dad was never one who let opportunities slip away - even while in the hospital. My dad was assigned one of the new, young dietitians to teach him to make heart-healthy diet choices. This little girl was living in the Buffalo area sort of far from her family, and dad wheedled it out of her that she was single. My dad had a son who was single!Dad really liked this cute little dietitian, and since he couldn't have her for himself, he would do the next best thing - try to arrange it so this girl could meet his son! Dad was a conniver and the meeting occurred. Al walked this girl to the elevator when she had to go to the next patient, asked her out for a date, and was overjoyed when she said "yes"! He went back into to dad's room and exclaimed, "Wow! She's beautiful!" Dad inquired if Al asked her out, and he said he did. Then Al had one of those "aw sh#t" moments. He forgot to get the girl's phone number!!! I think my dad made some snarky remark -well - I know my dad made a snarky remark - about Al's lack of finesse, and he secured the girl's phone number for him.
Now - the condensed version of this is... Al & Becky will celebrate their 38th anniversary in June, have 3 grown kids, and 4 grandsons.
This had nothing to do with Disney - but Al & Becky do love WDW. Especially Al. Becky loves the shopping!!![]()
Matchmaker, Matchmaker, make me a match. Find me a find, Catch me a Catch...

Just how many times did your dad see Fiddler On The Roof?..

Between the two of you, it sounds as if your dad knew how to cut to the chase, and get right to the point!...and obviously..he was right too.
