Grovesnor Resort

Anybody stayed at the Grovesnor recently? Just curious about the tower rooms. Can you really see the fireworks from your room and are the rooms big enough for 5 people?

Grosvenor used to be our home away from home until we joined DVC two years ago.
The hotel was slipping the last few times we stayed there.
But yes, if you have a tower room that faces the parks, you can see EPCOT fireworks from your room.
You can also see Pleasure Islands, but theirs only last about two minutes, at midnight. Not worth staying up for. But yes, you can see EPCOT's. You won't be able to see the water fountains or Earth spinning, so there is time when you see nothing.

If I remember correctly, there are two double beds in the tower rooms. One time we had the two beds and a day bed. So that room would have slept five. But out of all the times we stayed there, we only had the day bed once.

We stayed at the Grosvenor in 2003. We had a Tower room facing DTD. My kids loved watching the fireworks every night from the room. We are a family of five. The room had a daybed and also a fridge.

We loved the Grosvenor and stayed there in January 2004. We also had a tower room that faced the fireworks. It was awesome! Our room had 2 double beds and a day bed, refrigerator, and it was rather large for a regular hotel room for sure. I loved being able to walk right across the street to DTD and the service was very good. We would stay there again and my SO has stayed in several of the better Disney properties. He preferred the Grosvenor because of the location to DTD and the adult playground of Pleasure Island.
