Groups for 18 - 20 yr old onboard?

Our DS just turned 18 but enjoys video games and such. He is happy to tag along with us, but I know he would love to meet other young adults in his age group. I can't recall if DCL caters to this specific age. Any advice would be much appreciated.

It's the 18-20 society. They meet around 10pm (check your navigator) on the 1st evening. That's the best time to go and see if there are people he might like to hang out with. On our cruises they have had one or 2 things organised during the day (such as lunch, or goofy golf on the Fantasy) & a meet in one of the adults clubs in the evening.
My DD has done it a few times and has usually found at least one or two people that she does other things with.

Yes, the 1820 society or club. Check the navigator for times and location. My brother and I did this 4 years ago and loved it, we meet the first couple times and ended up doing our own activities with people that age group, and are still friends to this day. The do offer different activities each day for this age groups. On our cruise, the meet ups were really just organizers times to see an adult show or gameshow.

I would recommend going to first day or two.

1820 Society! It's a pretty neat group. We've known people in our Fish Extender who had kids this age and they loved it.

I'm just going to second NZMUM's advice - have your son attend that first night. That's when the group (if there's going to be one) meets with the CM that's going to facilitate their activities. And when activities are decided upon.

If no one shows up, or only 1 or 2, nothing gets going and the cruise could be a bust.
