Group reservation - room placement

First time traveling with a group. We currently have 6 preferred rooms booked at All Star Music for 16 people. They were all booked together so I assume they are "linked". What would be the best thing to do so increase our chances of getting rooms close together? We will all be arriving at different times from MCO. With the kids, it would just be easier if we were close together. Thanks!

Don't make any assumptions, give WDW a call. Not sure what you mean by "linked".

We are used to cruising where linking your reservations means they will seat you together. I just didn't know if booking all of the rooms at the same time would help us to get rooms close together. Thanks!

Call and have a request noted that you want to be near each other. Then make no other requests. That is all you can do.

Yes, call them. They can put notations that all are traveling together. Even if you booked at the same time, if you didn't ask to have them linked, it might not happen. I've never traveled in a big group but every time I've booked two rooms they were either next to each other or one or two doors away.
