Group project anyone?

Hi everyone, I love this thread :cool1: :cool1: Your designs are fantastic :yay:

I am trying to have a go myself but I'm stuck

I can manage 'normal' frames but I'm having trouble doing the ones like above :sad2: I can't figure out out to have the @photo part' cut away? All help would be greatly appreciated :thumbsup2

Hope all you fab designers will be posting some 2008 designs as I'll be needing them for my very soon to be trip ;)

If you're attempting to create your own frame make sure that you start with a new blank file with the background contents "transparent" (using Photoshop Elements). If you are copying a frame that a designer has made follow my instructions on post #1475.

Hope that helps a bit.

Thanks for that :thumbsup2

I always use a transparent background but don't get how you cut out an oval shape or any other shape come to that ;) I bow down to you all :worship: the frames on here are fantastic!

In order to get the shape, use the marquee tool and select whether you want oval or rectangular. Then go to edit, delete and the opening should appear.

Thanks so much for taking the trouble to post that for me

I have Photoimpact which is slightly different to the picture you posted. I'll have a play tomorrow and see what happens!!!

Many thanks, I hope this thread gets going again :thumbsup2

Thank you very much and I'm sure there will be more they're fun to make.

Wendy,

6) Resize the picture (by using the handles) so that it is slightly larger than the opening in the frame.
7) You may have to click OK (Checkmark) after each step.

Hello.

I am new to this board and I love all the great Disney Photo Enhancements.
I am starting a Photo Shop Class on Wen. but, I am unable to find the handles so I can resize the picture. Looking forward to sharing what I design.

Thank you :flower3:

Once you open your picture, click on the move tool (looks like a cross with arrowheads and an arrow), then "select all" and you should see a dashed line around your picture with small squares on each corner and halfway along each edge. These boxes are the handles.

Thank you for your help. I have the picture over the frame now how do I shrink it? I know how to make it move to the back I still need to make it just alittle bit bigger then the opening. Thank you

I haven't posted on this thread in a Long time, but since you asked for Valentines I thought I'd repost one that I posted a long time ago,

Make the picture the active layer. Click on the move tool and grab one of the "handles" at a corner and pull slowly until the picture is slightly larger than the frame opening. Hope this helps.
