What is the best way to get from the Orlando airport to Shades of Green? We'll be bringing our (then) 2 1/2 year old, almost 33 pound, daughter on her first trip to WDW in August.

You can make a reservation with a car service. The driver will meet you inside the airport around baggage claim, help you get your bags into the vehicle, and drive you directly to your resort. And if you request it in advance, almost all will make a stop at a grocery store for you along the way. Also make sure they know about your little one so they have the right child safety seat in the vehicle.

This is assuming you won't have any need for a rental car during your trip. I personally like to NOT DRIVE AT ALL during my Disney trips. So if I'm paying for someone else to drive me between the airport and my resort, I'd take a car service over a taxi every time, because the car service provides a MUCH higher level of customer service (meeting you inside, grocery stop, more personalized service, and so on).

The "best way", ..depends on what your definition is of "the best", i.e. your prefered mode of transportation. You can have a very nice helicopter pick you up from the top of the Hyatt Hotel at the airport. Or, a luxury million $ motor coach with staff to attend to you ...on your trip from the airport. You have many transportation selections in Orlando. The above modes... also.. Stretch SUV, Stretch Limousine, Towncar, SUV, Van, Mini Bus, Bus, taxi, city bus, walking, etc. Sorry if I forgot to mention any others. Since you are seeking the best, do a search on the internet for what mode of transportation you are seeking.

Basically.. just search for the type of transportation you want, and remember you get what you pay for.

Mears offers a shared shuttle service. A car service wil generally give you grocery stop and much better service. A car service will probably cost an extra $50 or so.

SoG charges for parking. Rent a car if you're doing stuff offsite. Sea World. Universal..shopping etc.
