Does Disneyland offer a service like Magical Express or a shuttle that goes to/from the airport and the on-site resorts?

If there is not a shuttle service like Magical Express, are there private shuttle services you can hire to take you to/from the airport?

There are both- shuttles and a bus.

The bus is the Disneyland express bus. From what I understand, it is not as complete of service as the magical express at WDW. It does get you from the airport to the hotel, but they do not handle your bags for you. You'll have to claim your bags at the airport and get them to the bus. Then they take them off for you at the hotel and you get them to your room.

There are buses that service LAX and SNA airports. You can find out rate info at www.airportbus.com. You will also find a brochure, in pdf format, that has times and estimate trips times on it. The service is actually contracted with Greyline (Grayline?). You can use them for other transportation as well, such as to seawork or universal studios.

A lot of people like the bus service. Its not my favorite way to get around. The bus is large and holds a lot of people. Depending on your hotel, you may be on the bus for a long time waiting to get dropped off. Then on the way back you have to ride the bus to the Disneyland hotel, and switch buses depending on what airport you are going to. Just is a bit more hastle then I like. The bus will run you about $15 per person each way. There are often coupons on the website I gave earlier. Probably a good options for LAX, not as great from SNA because its so close.

There is also supershuttle and a couple other shuttle companies. You may share your shuttle with other people. So it is possible that you may have to go into residential areas to drop off. That has not been my experience, but I've read that other people have had to. We've always just dropped off at other hotels, and never more then 2 besides our own. They have always been quick and easy to use. Get pricing at www.supershuttle.com

They service LAX, SNA and Long Beach (probably Ontario and Burbank as well)

Honestly I when it comes to the Disneyland resort my vote will always go to Supershuttle.... For $10 a person supershuttle is a big van that will either pick you up from the airport and drop you off at your hotel... OR.... they will pick you up from your hotel and bring you back to the airport.

They are always on time, get you to the airport or hotel or any other destination you require (They do this too) on time and they help you with your luggage by putting it carefully into the back and they will get it for you at arrival. You do not have to give your luggage to anyone to bring up to your room as mentioned above for the Disney bus line only unless you request it yourself at the hotel. I personally think its a much better idea as you know where your stuff is.

Also do note that yes its true that you MIGHT have to drop off more people along the way (Depending on the size of your party). But its always in the same area and its never usually anymore then 2 drops. My mom and I took it and we dropped off 2 families (Paradise Pier and the Grand) then they took us to our hotel. For us it took about an hour to get through the airport grab luggage, get supershuttle, make 2 stops, at our hotel and into the park. I thought that was pretty decent.

Besides you get to talk to other people in the shuttle more inimately about their up coming trip as they are most likely going to DL as well. :thumbsup2 Great way to start your trip and get excited.
