Planning our trip, and I am confused about the transfers. We ordered the Passporter book and read it cover to cover. It gives detailed information about the different kinds of transfers and pros and cons or each. If I read it correctly, it mentions having to wait until buses (Disney cruise buses) are full before leaving, and possibilities of arriving late at the terminal and missing out on Palo reservations. Has anyone had that problem?
Our plane arrives the day before our cruise. We have a rental car to run and get last minute items, etc. Plus we can repack our carry on bag for the ship. We plan to stay outside WDW for the night and return to the airport the next am, taking a Disney shuttle to ship. We plan to get to the airport to get on the earliest bus to the terminal.

Of you already have a rental car, why turn it in and use the Disney bus? What is the cost difference if you keep the car overnight, and can you use a rental agency that has a drop off near the port?

If you do go back to the airport to check the bus, be sure to be at the DCL desk no later then 9:45AM, get check in and wait for the bus out side, if you do get on the first bus, you will get check in at the port in time, and then have to wait to board the ship. After getting on the ship heard off to make the Resv. That what I did and got everything I wanted.
