Ground floor room at WL?

Based on someone else's report, I am thinking of requesting a ground floor room because it sounds like the patio outside would be nice. We have a woods view room and would like to maybe see the otter pond, etc. Has anyone else had any experience with this? We have connecting rooms-Do they connect on the bottom floor?

We have been on the 2nd and 5th and had great views of the otter pond. I have never requested a ground floor but I don't think you would have any trouble. Have a great vacation.

that post might have been mine. For our trip July I requested ground floor. I like ground floor and it's like an extension to your room and not just limited to balcony size. Have fun!

Hey everyone. Remember, this is Florida...and you are staying in a hotel with "woods" which will probably bring some of our unwanted guests in your room if you leave the pattio door open!

I guess I didn't think about that-Aren't there a lot of snakes in the area? I just thought ground floor would be more relaxing with the patio. I guess the ground floor rooms would be on the wings and not on the main lobby-right?

Maybe not snakes but other little critters for sure...like bugs...
