Ground floor fanatics?

Ground floor would be great--if we had quiet folks in the rooms above. But anytime we get a ground floor, there sounds like a herd of cattle above us.

I am glad someone likes them. I always take the top floor. I don't want to listen to kids running around, bouncing balls, etc over my head.

Maybe I am missing the point, but expecting a priority for a first floor at OKW for medical reasons is not unreasonable in my view.

If you cannot use stairs, a first floor unit at OKW is a necessity and is far different from someone desiring a certain view.

When we request a first floor for medical reasons at OKW we stipulate that an accessible room is not required. We don't care if we get an accessible room or not because she can get around within the unit. In my view that gives the room assigners more flexibility.
My point was there are people who request first floor for medical reasons and will not accept a HA room. There are more HA rooms than needed at this points so it's not a case of taking one from one who truly needs it. This is an unreasonable request, IMO. As I said above, it's not the request, but the expectation that's the problem.
