Grooms and the art of shaving...

There may be a more appropriate place to ask this but I'm really not sure where so I thought I'd ask here in case any men managed to get a treat while on their weddings and honeymoons

I've been booking various things for me and my poor groomy then asked...is there anywhere I can get a proper shave? Being English he's quite fond of these kinds of things...

So...I ask...other than the barber shop in Main street can he?

In google searching I found the "Art of Shaving" store which has the Barber Spa...but I can't see any info on prices or how you book? It's in Disney Springs which is pretty good...

But do any of the salons offer anything? The price list I was sent only offered "Gentlemen's haircut" so I assume that's not whipping out a sharp blade and clean shaving the bloke

The last real barbershop on property was the one at the Contemporary Resort, which closed a few years ago. That's where my husband got his pre-wedding shave. The other Disney salons don't have licensed barbers on staff, just stylists.

I called the Art of Shaving at Disney Springs - (407) 560-8320. They offer a basic straight-razor shave with hot towel for $35 and a "Royal" 45-minute shaving experience for $55. They also do haircuts. You can read their Yelp reviews here: http://www.yelp.com/biz/the-art-of-shaving-orlando-4

Art of Shaving should do a good job. My fiance has gotten stuff done at one when in a pinch since they seem to be popping up in malls everywhere now. He still prefers his barber here in NYC but when in a pinch he'll go to Art of Shaving.

It sucks. He loves a proper job but 10am is just too late to be opening and the groomy has determined there's no point doing one the day before as he'll still have to redo it.

Ah well...

Thanks for confirming what used to be there though. I think he must have seen that on a previous visit...
