Grocery Stores HH

Going to HH this summer and wanted info and directions ( if possible) to grocery stores. Thanks

I am sure that some people will give you much better directions and other locations. HH is just off a main drag. Less than a mile before you get off the highway you will pass a supermarket. I found it to be close enough and convenient. I imagine that it was not the best priced. I cannot remember the name. It is in the same strip as Pasquals (good pizza place). There is also a liquor store in the strip.

There is a Publix off William Hilton Pkwy, there is a Harris Teeter at Main Street Village and also at Park Place near the entrance to Sea Pines. There is a Piggly Wiggly at the Plaza at Shelter Cove and a Bilo at Port Royal Plaza.

Right next to the resort (before you get to the Disney turn-off), there is a shopping area (everything is behind trees, so it is easy to miss) and a mall. There are roadways to the resort from this mall without even getting on the main highway. Anyway, there is a Piggly Wiggly grocery store with good prices. Ask at the Customer Service counter for a vacation shopping card so you can get the current discounts. This is in the same shopping area where Fudruckers is, I believe. I think that it is the closest supermarket to Disney.

Piggly Wiggly may be the closest, but we prefer Publix. It seems to have a better selection, is newer and cleaner.

There are two Publix stores on the island: one in the same shopping strip as Wal-Mart (near the entrance to Indigo Run) and one down near Sea Pines Circle.

There are a number of stores to chose from. A Wal Mart supercenter off the island and near the interstate, two Publix, a Harris Teeter, 2 Piggly Wiggly, Bi Low, Winn Dixie and a Food lion. Not to mention the Sam's. We too prefer the Publix near Sea Pines circle. The Pigs and Foodlion are smaller and don't have that good of a selection. The WM on the island is not a Super WM.

The three circles noted are Sea Pines Cirlce in the middle of the Island, Coligny Circle just below it (actually east) and the third inside Sea pines Planatation but I forget it's name.
