Grocery Store Stop ???

Hi -

We are going to WDW in September and will be taking a town car from MCO to WL --- a little upgrade for our 20th anniversary --- and will be requesting a grocery store stop.

As we have never done the grocery store stop and are not from the area - is there a good one to request? Also a silly question - but I am a total addict for Glaceau VitaminWater is it sold in these grocery stores?

The crossroads right outside of downtown disney has a grocery sore and considering that it is less than one mile from your hotel it should not be a problem.And as far as vitamin water is concerned,they have everthing that any other grocery sore has.

Crossroads would probably be the easiest one to goto but it's more then a mile from Wilderness Lodge.

my mistake missed the wilderness lodge "WL" but it would still be the best bet!

When we go, DH and I have a rental car and usually stop at Albertsons to pick up a few things. You are even able to pre-order and the groceries will be ready for you to pick up. www.albertsons.com/store/ Hope this helps. Donna

The Goodings supermarket at Crossroads is known to be somewhat pricey. I suggest the Publix on Apopka-Vineland Rd. It's not much further than Crossroads.

We never shopped at Albertsons, so I don't know how the prices compare.

When we used a car service, we didn't get to pick the grocery store that we stopped at. Not that it mattered, since I didn't know the area. But we have always been taken to the Publix near Seaworld. They had everything we needed and prices were reasonable.
