Grocery store on way from MCO to WDW?

I'm renting a car for our Nov. trip to WDW. Can anyone recommend a good stop on the way from the airport to WDW? I'm looking for wine and groceries. Thanks!

A lot depends on where in or around WDW you are staying. WDW itself is the size of a small city, so which direction you go depends on where you are staying. My first suggestion is that you check your favorite grocer's website and use their store locator.

We stay East of WDW and prefer Publix on Vineland at I-Drive for general groceries. Even closer to DTD is the Winn-Dixie on Apopka-Vineland, North of the Crossroads. There is an ABC liquor right in front of W-D that has a full selection if you can't find what you want inside.

If you have any specialty needs (allergies, vegan, etc) the nearest Whole Foods is on Turkey Lake at Sand Lake West. There is a nice Super WalMart a little further South on Turkey Lake for your bulk purchases; but there are several other Targets and WalMart's in the area.

If you are more to the AKL side, there is good shopping around Sherbeth and Irlo Bronson as well (Publix and Target if I recall correctly).

The Publix off of 528 (Beeline Expressway) at Exit 2, take a right onto Universal, go up a 1/2 mile, left into Publix. Then straight shot back on 528 to I-4 (a minute) right to WDW. This is our favorite Publix, newer, has great selection, friendly staff. It is only open to 10:00 p.m. though.
