Grocery store near VWL

We will be leaving this week for our stay at VWL. Does anyone know the closest grocery store (off site)? We need mostly breakfast items, snacks and beverages.

It's not really close (maybe a 20-30 minute drive) but we go to Winn-Dixie. Ask the valet and they will be able to give you directions. I believe there is also a Publix nearby, but we haven't used it.

We use Publix. Follow signs to Downtown Disney, go out of DW through Hotel Blvd and turn right. Turn left at the first road after you go under I-4 and continue down that road. It's on the left. I don't know if it's the closest, but at least I know how to get there without getting lost.

There is another Publix that is slightly closer than the one listed above and the Winn Dixie. Head out of WL and head towards the Poly. After passing the Poly, make a left onto World Drive. Continue heading straight until you see the Osceola Parkway Exit. Take the Osceola Parkway exit towards Route 417, not towards AK. Once on Osceola, continue straight off WDW property. Once off WDW property, you'll see the Gaylord Palms Hotel on the right. At the light where the Gaylord Palms starts (International Drive South) make a right, and there is a Publix about 3/4 a mile down on the left.

On our last trip, we went to a new publix. It is just behind Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede. It seems like it was just on the other side of the interstate from DD. This may be the one the Grammie Mame is referring to. Anyway, we liked their selection and it was close by. Dixie Stampede is easy to spot, and probably easy to get directions to. There was also an Outback Steakhouse next to it and some other new restaurants and shops being built in that area. Have a great time on your trip!

I've been wondering the same thing now for a while. We'll be at SSR this October.

Straight onto Hotel Plaza Blvd - 0.8 miles
Turn RIGHT (south) onto SR-535 [S Apopka Vineland Rd] - 0.5 miles
Turn LEFT (east) onto Vineland Ave - 1.1 miles
