Grocery store close to BWV? Cubic size of fridge?

We're staying a week at BWV in a 1br. Does anyone know how large or small the fridge is? It looks like a 18cft from the pictures.

Also, where's the nearest grocery store to the resort? We have a car so that's no problem. Thanks!

Do not know cubic size but am sure someone does. but it is a good size. We go to a Publix over by the big outlet mall where they have a Disney store(Character outlet) and then down the road a few minute on the left is a great clean beautiful Publix... if you just need a few things to start the Hess across the street from BWV is reasonable. As for Publix I go on line and look at there flyer and make a list. I also think there is a Target and WalMart Super a bit further. I would post over on the DVC boards you will get better answers.

We have used the grocery store at the CrossRoads Plaza. Just drive straight down the drive across from DownTown Disney (where all the hotels are). The plaza is at the other end.

A lot of folks, myself included, like to go to GardenGrocer.com and have food delivered. You do your shopping online and the items are delivered right to BWV for you.

Gooding's at the Crossroads is more expensive than some of the others. We usually go to Winn- Dixie which is on Apopka-Vineland not far from the DTD plaza hotels.

This is where we went as well, last week, while staying at BWV. Still not as cheap as Wal-Mart, but loads better than Goodings!!!
I don't know the size of the fridge either. It's full size, but on the smaller end of the full size refrigerators.

It's probably 18-19 cf. No icemaker at BWV. Just ice trays.
