The closest grocery store is Goodings in the Cross Roads shopping center. It's about a mile from the hotel to Goodings (if you're walking - go out the main hotel entrance, turn left down the drive to the sidewalk, turn left onto the sidewalk, continue to the end of Hotel Plaza Boulevard, you'll see the Cross Roads sign right across the road, press the walk button and cross to the shopping center). In my opinion Goodings is rather expensive. There is a Winn Dixie located another half mile or so up SR 535 (turn left on sidewalk at end of Hotel Plaza Boulevard (there's a crossing at Lake Street just before the shopping center that the Winn Dixie is in). I think that there's a convenience store at the hotel, too.
There are lots of restaurants in the area. Other than the DTD restaurants, there a several chain restaurants up on SR 535 with a mile and a half of the Regal Sun. There's a restaurant at the hotel as is true, I suspect, of most if not all of the other hotels in the area.
