Grocery Storage before Check-in?

I'm renting points to stay at WLV in a few weeks. Once in Disney, I'm relying on their transportation, not renting a car. I'm thinking of having Tiffany TownCar pick us up and wanted to take advantage of the grocery stop - but what do we do with the groceries if I can't check in until 4pm? (We're flying in and arriving about 10:30am.) I'm mainly concerned about perishables like milk or cheese; I'm guessing that non-refrigerated items would be fine held at Bell Services with our luggage. Should I just pick up milk, etc later - and would they have that at the WL store? What have others done?

BTW, this board has been so great - because I "met" a super-nice couple who are renting me their points and because I get so many questions answered and tips on trips. I love reading the trip reports and looking at all the pictures - it's great to know there are so many other Disney maniacs out there! Thanks for all the help.:)

Hi Lisa I believe you can put your food in storage much like your luggage while waiting for check-in. I think they have soem refriegration available for this type of circumstance

They will put your food with your bags. Just make sure you tell them which ones need refridgeration. I try to keep all of that stuff together in just one or two bags so they don't have to figure it out when we get there.

One time we left milk and OJ there, told them to refridgerate, and 8 hours later we had warm milk and OJ delivered. A call to the front desk straightened it all out and we got free milk and OJ from the mercantile. :)

If you are getting anything frozen - make sure you mark it separate from those items that you get need refrigerate - bell services will do both - no problem

just don't assume that your room won't be ready - check in - you might be a nice surprise - you might not.
