Can someone tell me a convienent grocery store that would be on our way in to the cabins. We will be coming down I-4. (traveling west towards WDW)?

Thanks,
Terri

Get off at Exit 68 and merge to the right. Go past the Cross-Roads shopping plaza and skip the Goodings that everyone raves about and proceed about aonther 1/2 mile to the Winn-Dixie (on the right).

You will save about 20% off your overall grocery bill.

Go back towards the interstate and the east entrance of Disney is right there.

Trust me...I live about another 2 miles down the road (Apopka-Vineland, Close enough to see the fireworks from the front yard) and you will save money at Winn-Dixie.

Or, Get off at Exit 68 and merge to the left. Turn left on 535, crossing under I-4.

Drive under I-4, turning left at the first light after you cross under I-4. This should be Vineland Ave.

Continue on Vineland Ave, pass the outlet stores (nice center) and follow the signs to Publix, which is my favorite supermarket. I find Publix cleaner than most Winn Dixies with a much more helpful staff. Plus, Publix guarantees everything you buy in their store. Their motto "No sale is complete until the meal is eaten and enjoyed".

Current Store Hours:

Sun 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM
Mon 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM
Tues 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM
Wed 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM
Thurs 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM
Fri 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM
Sat 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM

After shopping, reverse course and cross back under I-4 on 535 and the east entrance to Disney will be on your left (Hotel Plaza Blvd).

Happy camping.

Either way works for me. Publix is more $ than Winn-Dixie, but not much more

There is a publix off exit 74-a (Sand Lake Road - Away from I-Drive) that is easier to get to than the one listed above. There is also an Albertsons there too.

Publix shoppers are very loyal. I could care less, I go to all three (Winn-Dixie, Publix and Albertsons) at different times depending on the need and the sales. Albertsons has some very good "1-day sales" on Saturday.

I also vote for Winn-Dixie. Easy to get to and more like the prices of my grocery store back home (yeh Meijer!!). Don't forget to fill out and sign-up for a Winn-Dixie card. I had mine from last year and saved $9 off my total bill again this year. (just back from a 2 week stay)
