Would it be a huge hassle to get off the resort to a grocery store if we don't rent a car? We just wanted to have some basic breakfasty/snacky things in the room while we are there...

has anyone done this without a car?

thanks!!

Depending on what WDW resort you are staying in -- they may have the items you want in there store.

You could take a cab but its $$$.

They do have grocery stores that deliver to your resort.

Depending on what resort you are staying in, certain gift shops have snacky foods, milk and things like that. Even Beer.

If you are taking a private service to the resorts from the airport and not Magical Express, you could ask them to stop at a grocery store on the way to the resort. We have done this in the past. But ended up not really eating everything. We bascially found everything we needed at the resort.

You could also use We Go Shop. We've used it a couple of times and it's been wonderful. They deliver the food on time and for a relaitvely small fee (I think 10% of the bill, minimum $20 or something like that) plus tip.

We do this all the time - we use Tiffany Towncar and ask for the 30 minute grocery stop at Publix on the way. Its worth it just to buy breakfast items and 12 or 24 bottles of spring water.

I heard someone say that they had things shipped from home(of course light-weight items) via UPS-ground. But for heavier items or perishables, you would probably need to take a taxi.
